October 29 - Thoughts of blessings with meditation

Our lives are very much different then the 1950's through the early 1980's. The demands of our time were certainly simpler back them. I came across this meditation MP3 file by Dr. Dike Drummond who is known for helping burnt out physicians (http://thehappymd.com). To the meditation, should you listen to it, I would, if I were you, add the thought: "God, thank you for all the blessings in my life". Reflect on your God-given blessings several times throughout the meditation. I think you will come away with your batteries recharged. It takes about 20 minutes but will be well worth your precious time... October 14 - Are you polished?

Another week passed by. Isn't it amazing how fast life passes by? Today, I talk about a quote by Elizabeth Kubler Ross, MD. This quote was part of her address to my classmates and I when we graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1979. "The winds of time will either crack your surfaces or polish them... It's up to you to decide" This is a great quote which I wanted to share with you.  I've decided I am going to be polished... How about you?  Have a good week. Here's the pod cast
